Dear Fellow Kiwanians,
Wow! I can’t believe the first month of our Kiwanis year is already over.
It has been full of Installation Dinners, Governor’s Visits and the CKI Fall Rally. They all reinforced what amazing people we have in our Kiwanis Family. I’ve been able to witness new members coming into the fold knowing that we have ever more hands to put toward making a difference in this world, and what a difference we are making!! During the Governor’s visits we hear all the major service and fundraising projects our clubs have going. I think of the question, “If these clubs weren’t here would the community feel the loss?” My answer to that is a resounding, “YES”. We are making a difference in our communities and for children around the world!
I implore you to stay focused on our reason for being, “To Improve the Lives of Children, One Child and One Community at a Time!” Let’s put the, “We can’t” and “We have never done it that way” thinking aside and find ways to continue to reach more children. They do need us and we must discover the 4th option to make it happen!!
Yours in service,
Windy
